Ailsa Boardman-Hirst (Headmistress)

Mrs B's teaches in Year 1, Nursery, and also runs the Monday afternoon Mother and Toddler Group. Mrs B's has a young son and enjoys outdoor activities, music and sport. She is often seen joining in an early morning game of "it" or "grandmother's footsteps" with the children!

Clare Carter (Nursery)

Mrs Carter lives in Chilmark and has 3 daughters, 7 hens and a Springer Spaniel call Guiness. Best of all she likes singing, dancing and taking Guiness for long walks.

Maureen Rossiter (Nursery)

Mrs Rossiter has 3 children, (1 son and twin daughters), that are now all grown up! At home she has 2 cats called Tessa and Molly. When they were kittens they visited the Nursery and like it very much! Mrs Rossiter enjoys walking with her husband, swimming with Mrs Marshmallow, and dancing with Mrs Notley our dance teacher.

Annie Sutton

Mrs Sutton lives in Charlton Musgrove. She has 3 daughters and lives on a small holding with lots of animals! She loves being outside and particularly enjoys horse riding. She has been working in the Pre-Prep and Nursery for 8 years.

Katherine Thomas (Reception Class Teacher)

Miss Thomas is the youngest member of our teaching team, and we have a time keeping up with her! She has a background in child psychology, and has even had one of her papers published! Miss Thomas enjoys her daily singing in Letters and Sounds, and always has a plethora of fun activities to hand for all her children to enjoy.

Amy Hall (Reception Class Teaching Assistant)

Miss Hall is currently studying a Foundation Degree in Early Years with a view to becoming a teacher. She loves wearing her wellies in the garden and being in the Forest School.

Rosalind Wilson (Year 1 Teacher)

Mrs Wilson used to ask which window we should go through when she presented "Play School". She now teaches through the "Arched Window" of Year one. She has worked for many years with under sixes and there are few things we've not made with paint, card and "a bit of sticky tape". She starts the day with a swim and is part of the "Musical Story Time" Company in her spare time.

Theresa Latham (Year 1 Classroom Assistant)

Mrs Latham has worked in the Pre-Prep for four years. She has 3 children all of whom have been through the school. She likes cutting and sticking and is quite good at skipping!

Liz Lifton (Year 1 Classroom Assistant)

Mrs Lifton enjoys sharing her love of music with the children. She accompanies our hymns and runs Recorder Club.

Jane Moxham (Year 2 Teacher)

Mrs Moxham has been at Port Regis for 12 years. Jane loves Art, and parents are often amazed by the outstanding artwork that decorates the walls of the Year 2 classroom. She is obsessive about cycling and swimming, and does both everyday.

Heather Marsh (Year 2 Classroom Assistant)

Heather Marsh is our Year 2 Classroom Assistant. She has worked in the Pre-Prep for nearly 14 years, and in that time has worked with all our year groups. Mrs Marsh is affectionately known as Mrs Marshmallow by the children, but shhh.... it's a secret!

Emma House

Mrs House has taught music for 16 years. She is a trained music therapist and co-writes introductions to classical music for children. She believes children learn through having FUN!
