The Forest School is a unique opportunity to take learning and experiences beyond the classroom. Through planned activities children learn the importance of cooperation, communication and respect for others, and the environment. Children are introduced to hand tools, how to use them safely and care for them, to assess risk and manage risk within a safe and controlled setting. The whole school joins together for at least one Forest School activity per week. Children are encouraged to explore, challenge their limitations and boundaries, whilst having a huge amount fun!
